RubiconMD Quality Incentive Program

Eligibility:

In order to qualify for a quality incentive bonus a specialist must complete 25% of their quarterly
volume in Peer to Peer reviews. You can follow if you’re tracking towards this goal on your personal
dashboard.

Example: If a specialist completes 100 consults a quarter, they must complete 25 reviews over the
quarter to be eligible for a bonus.

How it works:

1. Complete peer reviews throughout the quarter, taking into account the daily limit of 10
   reviews per day. Reviews cannot be done in bulk at the end of the quarter to ensure timely
   and high quality reviews.
2. Specialists will be segmented by eConsult volume at the end of the quarter. We will confirm
   all participants have met eligibility criteria.
3. The top 10% of specialists (based on clinical quality) will be selected. The total number of
   specialists will vary based on the number of peer review participants.
4. Bonus recipients will receive notification via email. The current bonus amount is $500.

FAQ:

1. Will I be compared against peers in my specialty for the bonus?
   • Peer review bonuses will be awarded to specialists based on top Clinical Quality Scores
     amongst specialists with comparable volumes of eConsults completed. This means you
     could be compared against specialists in a different specialty.
2. Can I know my ranking based on my Clinical Quality Score?
   • Clinical Quality Scores will remain internal for the time being. You will not know your score
     compared to other specialists unless you are notified of being in the top 10%.
3. Is there any advantage to doing more than the 25% volume minimum in peer reviews?
   • Absolutely! Participation in peer reviews not only makes you eligible for the incentive bonus
     but also has a positive effect on your overall platform experience. More logins to do peer
     reviews can boost your platform engagement to send you more eConsult volume.
4. How do I know if I got a bonus?
   • We will notify the specialists who receive that bonus via email. They can expect payment
     when they receive payment for eConsults completed.
