When will I receive a response?

We believe that a timely response is crucial to have patient care impact. Our median response time is <4 business hours.

However, it may take longer if eConsults are submitted over the weekend. You also may see longer turn-around times if the clinician sends the eConsult to the wrong specialty. In those cases, a specialist may deny the eConsult and RubiconMD will route it to a specialty and specialist who is more qualified to respond to the clinician's question.
