Clinicians usually close a consult because they have received the information they were seeking. However, we understand that sometimes there are additional updates to an existing consult.
To reopen a closed eConsult:
- On the platform, find the closed consult (closed consults are filed in the "Reviewed" folder)
- Click add “Send a follow-up question” to add additional comments on the bottom of the eConsult
- Type your follow-up comment in the "Type your response" section. You may also add additional attachments.
- Click “Submit"
